Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a performance art film by Jessica Tanto that explores the emotional relationship between a human and guling (bolster). 

Jessica, a 21-year-old ‘operates’ their beloved 15-year-old bolster to replace the old rolled up cotton with a new one. The film captures the real emotional rollercoaster Jessica underwent as they tore up and stitched up their comfort object to ‘fix’ its deformed shape.
